The Deal is made August 2nd, 2011, Kansas City - What does it mean? |
The deal is made, the debt limit will be raised, some cuts will come in the future, in short, after a very undignified spectacle over months, our politicians agreed to get the cow from the ice. Really? Now, lets have a look. Basically, the deal includes minor up front cuts in the budgets but over two trillion dollars more debt in a little over a year. Or in other words, the usual two trillions per yewar, we got used to from the Obama administration. So the cow isn't from the ice. We are deeper in trouble than ever by this deal, even we are maybe not that deep in trouble as we would be, would this administration play completely unhampered with the money of future generations. Now, some liberals will call me a racist, because Obama is a black male (we take Michelle's word for the latter), but in fact, the numbers are clear. The new debt per year under Obama was as of yet 2 trillion dollar per year constant, that is about 4 to 5 times what Bush made. This is not a few percent more, that is like 400 to 500%! 40 cents per dollar spent is borrowed and with the new deal, we will end up at 16.3 trillions or more in debt because even if everything works out, the cuts mostly come later. And that is not a question of skin color, that's a question of numbers. Would it have helped, to raise the debt limit by a lesser amount? Maybe only one trillion? Or one and a half? No, it wouldn't, even that would have been the logical thing to do. But it wouldn't have worked, because the administration would have used that money up long before the next deadline and just have threatened America with the next default. It's that simple. However, is this really a problem only with the current administration? No, it isn't! The next three, four, five adminsitrations will start their work with a debt unparalleled in human history, with bound hands in fact. This will have it's impacts on welfare, | health system and defense, on infra structure, economy and education. Lets face it, Obama and Reid delivered a marvellous piece of negotiation tactics, one has to Reid, Obama, Pelosi and Boehner - Architects of the "we all lose deal"
give them that. But they did so for the wrong purpose. And by doing so, they sold out the future of the next generations of Americans. We can't do anything against it - for now. Our next chance will come in November 2012. And even then, given the fact, there are a lot of people now benefitting from Obama's welfare programs, he will get votes. And the same people will get fined after they voted for him for his Obamacare. It's a genious scam to get votes from the gullible. But the more important it is, that the challengers speak out. The next elections will not be about gay marriage. That is just a side show driven by the media. The next election will be like the last one just about two things: Debt and economy. And it is important, the challengers finally stand up and tell us, what they really want to do. Not just generalized speech, not just promises to spend less. We know, every next President will have to spend less because Obama consumed the credit frame. We need to know where they want to cut, how much and over what time. We need to know, what projected revenue they have in their plans, how much money they want to spend in other countries and for which purposes. In short, we want numbers and information. Rick Perry, one of the wannabe-challengers pondering whether to | jump in the fray, critizises, woos the religious conservatives with his stance about gay marriage, but has given as of yet no reason to the wider majority of conservatives who are not religious bound. He can do so and maybe get some votes. Or he can avoid that, leaving out the majorities out of his calculation as it is nowadays tradition in Washington D.C. But we approach a time, such stupidity will be punished by voters. So, what are the alternatives now? Obama on one hand, a bunch of mostly unelectable weirdos on the other hand. Admittedly, compared to Obama, each of them is a valid challenger, it would simply overstretch their abilities to be worse. But where are the leaders of the future. We know, who is it not, and that list includes basically all runners from the incumbent to the last of the currently running Republicans. I can see not one, I would really like as President. And that makes the 2012 elections to another choice of the lesser bad. Consequently, as we are obviously have only the choice between mediocre minds from all sides, we will have to get used to deals like this one. Always deeper in trouble, always postponing things to the last moment, always repairing instead of creating. And that, that is the root of it all, the will to maintain a status quo despite all promises. The next politician, who talks about a contract with America has to be aware, such a contract will include also a clause allowing the voters to fire him, if he breaks the contract. We, the voters, have to teach our politicians this valuable lesson, that's our duty. And nobody can take that from us. So, wake up and do your duty before more deals like that will sell out your childrens and grand-childrens future. | ... back |
