| 2016 - A New Year ... again January 5th, Kansas City: Divided, we fall ... |
| Here it is, 2016, the new year, still so new, it still shines. Just like the 2015 years before and well, just as in the years before, we face a lot of problems and still, everyone hopes, it will get all better this year "somehow". And why shouldn't people believe it? By all means, politicians of all couleurs tell us every day, they have the patent recipe and if we listen to them and not to that other guy, everything will get better. Of course, history teaches us, the more we surrender to this mindless listen to "our" guy, the worse things get because democracy can only work if the voters do their homework in getting the facts and do the thinking for themselves. Otherwise, democracy is doomed to become a farce, dictated by those who become leaders by manipulating the biggest mindless mob. And then things for sure don't get better. So, 2016, what to expect? It is the last years of Obama. Now, as much as many welcome this fact, it will be also the worst year of Obama. He has nothing to win, nothing to lose, he is off the leash and entirely in "after me the flood" mode. Expect a flood of administrative orders on subjects like gun control, abortion, police equipment and for sure, the environmental agenda. Means more of his billionaire friends will try to make some extra hundred millions out of it in the nightly fly-by in projects, we will only hear about when they fail and often even not then (think wind park in Missouri or Wonderbatteries). And for sure also, the debt will raise. When Obama came into office, public debt was short under $10 trillion dollars and that after a Presidetn Bush nobody can really consider a cheap one. Now we are, stand June 30, 2015 at $18.5 trillion and the only question left with Obama is, will his administration catapult us beyond the $20 trillion. At this point a rather philosophical question because already the $18 trillion are the biggest amount of debt any ruler ever in human history piled up on his people- If he can make the $20 trillion, Obama alone ahs made more debt than all Presidents before him together. The debt, he leaves us with when he leaves the White House would have paid for example for complete WWII about 4 times!!! But then, that is not the worst, he did to this country. He was a President who split this country along race lines, along political lines and along income lines. The lines existed before, but he made them front lines in a merciless infighting. And even trillions and trillions of debt are a bad thing, the impact of this divisions, he sharpened for ideological reasons, will haunt us even worse. When I became American citizen, I became American. That's it! Period! A German who takes on another citizenship usually loses the German citizenship. If there is a thing like German-American, it refers to the occasional whining about the lack of certain beers, sausages and good bread. And yes, the bread subject would be worth an article! But there is no such thing as a really socially or politically hyphenated -American. Now, after 7 years of Obama, there are lots of other hyphenated Americans and the definition is not anymore by the -American in the back. African-Americans act as if African defines them, not American. Native-Americans anyway, things on that front have taken a turn to the ridiculous lately. And what to do with all those other Something-Americans? I have no idea! | Here is the rub, your children (I have none) will all pay for Obama's debt and more for Hilary's debt should you be careless enough to put her in power.
 Happy New Year 2016And they will pay, their whole lives and nobody will care whether they are black, brown, yellow, white or red. They will pay! They will pay via taxes, they will pay via service fees to government services they paid for already with their taxes and they will pay in a general decrease of life-standard. It has already begun, the household incomes decreased since late 2008 down to a level a little lower than a 20 year low. So, while following the big Divider, you piled up debt, loss of buying power and lower life-standards onto your kids. And while you run the rat race for the amusement of the black, white, green, purple and whatever color leaders, of which many become millionaires (at least) in the process, you children will pay the price for their parents being "hyphenated." Now, there is always a politician or a bunch of them, catering to minorities. Gay rights is such a subject. Of course, some politicians on the extreme religious fringe will say "marriage is between a man and a woman". Well where is this written ... oh ... in the Bible ... well, then go to church, Mister! Because in the US, we have a separation of government and church and one has no right to interfere with the other. Which, a little history lesson on the side, was one of the demands, the original pilgrims made. The separation of church and state was introduced into American constitutional principles by the churches at a time when there wasn't even an American government but only the English crown. So, if you don't like the founding fathers for it, you will not like your church fathers either and now get real and let gays marry and everything is okay. We don't need to split a nation over this unless a politician thinks, he or she can get more votes out of it to boil it up. What are you? Voting drones? | Now, this is of course only my personal opinion, but we have no problem that can't be solved in a logical way. Some solutions will take some time though. The problems of the black Americans for example are not solvable in a generation. However, just being black and nothing else will not solve them at all. Your kids, like everybody else's kids need an education. They need to go to school. And on the way to school, they have to be safe and not to be shot as collateral in the next drive-by shooting between your black bros. They have to be safe in the school yard, not just a new market for your black bro drug dealers. Your daughters need a diploma not a street corner, your sons need a diploma, not a gang tattoo! Ring leaders like Al Sharpton and Obama will not give you that. Since Obama became President, unemployment for blacks soared. That's what you voted for when you voted in your poplation group with 90% plus for racist reasons. Congratulations. Now drop the hyphen, see yourself as American and stand with all other Americans against the crime that has taken over your neighborhoods a long time ago, get the school ways safe or at least help those who try to do that for your kids instead of trying to get them out of your neighborhoods. Black lies matter helps only the gangsters. I could go on and on, but just another little example. I saw lately a kind of internet riot about a white girl wearing a "Native American feather headset", a wonderful piecefull of blue feathers ... oh wait, BLUEEEEEE? So, please, dear defenders of Native-American rights on headsets with blue feathers, tell me which North-American bird has blue feathers. Answer: None ... that thing was a fake and actually, there was never a claim it was authentic. So the whole hype was once more just stage thunder. Of course, stage thunder that helped to make many Americans twice before they are willing to raise for example aid money to the tribes. Congratulations, you sold out your kids for a moment of limitless stupidity. This is a great country and it's a big one. We have a lot of space here. There is no reason why Native-Indians, if they feel it that way shouldn't live their culture. But that doesn't mean you are not Americans. You are, that gives you enough rights. There is no extra needed anymore and for sure no division that makes the people on one side of it (you and your kids) poor and chanceless. In that, you are in the same kind of boat as the blacks or some varieties of the brown. The whole racial thing doesn't pay out for you. So sleep about it and think hard whether being an unhyphenated American wouldn't work better for you in 2016! - PB - |
