Racism, a game for everyone it appears

So, young guy got shot by a police officer. The guy had strongarmed a shop earlier, was walking in the middle of the street and as forensic evidence looks right now, he was also stupid enough to attack the officer, who got hurt and used his gun ... in self-defense or beyond that point. Since every officer involved shooting causes an investigation anyway, I can wait for what comes out of it. However, as sad as it sounds, such things happen all the time. In Utah, another man was shot by a police officer too, even most haven't heard of that story. Why? Because of racism. See, the cop in Missouri was white and the man shot was black. In Utah, it was vice versa. In Missouri, there were days of riots, in Utah, the situation remained calm and peaceful. Racism made all the difference.
Now people will howl and cry and stomp with their feet, maybe light up some shots or beat up some peasants on the streets, but here is the point, it wasn't race that made all the difference, it was actually racism. The attitude to blame another population group for everything bad because this other population group has another skin color is racism in its purest form. It leads to violence and at some point to an unbearable situation. Nevertheless, there are always people who propagate this kind of attitude. Some made millions with it over the years. Greetings to Reverend Sharpton. Some made political careers out of it. Greetings to AG Eric Holder and of course President Obama. All three of them have long histories of stirring racial tensions, Obama even wrote a book with clearly racist content. So, there is no way to deny that anymore.
I admit, I hate that. White supremacists, black racists, since I deal with serial killer cases which sometimes involve similar motivations, I got my share of murder threats from both species. Species as in something subhuman, not really belonging to the species of Homo sapiens sapiens.
See, here is the rub. We are all Americans. I am no Germano-American (is that even a political correct and socially accepted word?), the moment, I laid down my oath, I became American, end of the story. You people are no Native-Americans, African-Americans, Chino-Americans, Whatever-Americans. You people are Americans. Period. Stop that nonsense! | Now, I don't say, Americans have to agree about everything. How boring would that be? And at least Americans can agree on one thing, we love our little confrontations.

But then, it is on one side of the political spectrum considered uncivilized to admit to that, even it is exactly the side causing most of those spats. Hey, it's fine, we are all Americans. Those who came later, like me, have to accept, this is the country, where once disagreements were solved with a Peacemaker at noon on Main Street.
Newsflash! Those times are over! We can't do that anymore. Too many people on Main Street. Just look how many bystanders are shot during gang drive-by shootings. It just doesn't work anymore.
Well, some people obviously think, it does still work. Shops burnt in Ferguson, more people were shot. But stop a moment and think. What if you are right, what if your violent way to deal with things really works. Then this pendulum swings both ways. That means, at some point, you upset the majority of the population enough to follow your example. Which means, at this point, we are not all Americans anymore because you are dead meat and nothing else. So think twice whether you really want to riot more. Think hard. Because right now, the black minority has maneuvered itself in the same situation, Muslims find themselves in. They too need to speak up, distance themselves clearly from their violent brethren and support the words by deeds. Those in Ferguson had the right to protest peacefully. Every American has that right. But to gain credibility again, they need to go to the police now and turn the bad apples in, the plunderers, the shooters, the violent ones. Or they will be considered forever as being in bond with them. So it is in your interest to do the right thing here. | A word about the government. The Declaration of Independence declared, all people are born equal and with equal rights. Everything, down to the very existance of this nation is based on this one immortal declaration. Which means, it is especially the duty of the American lawmakers to make sure, all people in the US have the same rights and the same duties. There is no different law depending on skin color. And if one decides to attack another because of their skin color, it is either always a hate crime or never, but it isn't one depending on the skin color of offender or victim. The black victim of a supremacist attack has the same right for justice as the white victim of the infamous knock-out game and vice versa.
The moment, government leaders, be it in Congress or in the executive branch, break that law, this basic recognition of equality, they betray the most important base, this nation is built on. It took the US from 1775 till 1865, a long time and a bloody civil war, to make this happen for all Americans. So, Mr. Holder, what punishment would someone deserve for committing high treason on the very roots this nation grew out off? US Code 18 ยง2381 states "whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.". You, Mr Holder are an US citizen and therefore owe allegiance to the US. You have in your actions waged war against the United States of America by attacking the very foundations, this nation is built on. Any take on that, Mr. Holder?
No, that is not just political blame game. I ask this question seriously. Because I think, it is time to determine what we want, we all. Are the US the country of equality or strive at least to become that nation again? Or are we a political correct racist cesspool now? If it's the latter, Holder is okay with heating up racial tensions where he can. If not, he is a traitor, simply that. As usual, the decision lies with us, the people. The Americans.

The Riha disappearance
In 1969, Dr. Thomas Riha disappeared and in the subconsequent series of events, Gloria Tannenbaum was arrested for forgery and under suspicion of two other homicides. She plead not guilty by reason of insanity and got away with it. The case has now been added to our serial killer collection.
